*48 Hours: Your $$ Decide*

We've kicked off a massive fundraising appeal to raise money to run ads
in the final week of the campaign in a variety of types of media. The
more money we get the higher visibility of media we can buy, but
literally every penny helps. So far in our fundraising drive for ad
money, we raised over $8700. We'd love to match this pace over the
weekend. Every minute and dollar counts at this point because Monday
morning brings fresh opportunities to make our home stretch media buy
decisions.

*$ Buys Visibility*

We thought you'd enjoy learning more about what media costs. These
figures really help you appreciate why every dollar counts. A radio spot
can cost $25 each, depending on the market and time of day. A newspaper
ad can cost $23 a column inch, depending on the publication. Cable TV
spots can cost $65, depending on the network and time of day. The size
of your donation helps tell us how much and what type of media you think
we need to buy.

*Vote for Radio Ads*

We realized that this fundraising drive brings us an additional
opportunity to allow folks to give us feedback on some of the radio ads
we've just started running. Below you find links to three different ads.
You can cast this vote by using a special code when you donate.

*Ad: The Power of One*

The message of this radio ad is a reminder that we only get *one*
representative from the Fourth Congressional District and no other. If
that person doesn't focus on what's best for us, no one in Congress does.

Listen now to our Power of One
ad. Like
this one the best? End your donation in
$0.30.

*Ad: Stan's Reality Check*

Stan uses this radio ad to bring reality to the public dialogue.
Musgrave hits Stan with his vote on raising state Senate salaries, but
we point out that Musgrave accepted every penny of that raise herself.
Musgrave says Stan voted to raise taxes, but we point out that state law
requires voters to act in order to increase taxes. Stan's real record is
that he doesn't vote to spend money that we don't have.

Listen now to our Stan's Reality Check
ad. If this one
is your favorite, end your donation in
$0.31.

*Ad: Blacktop Blues*

Our final radio ad in this contest points out that Musgrave's
grandstanding on one issue had an actual dollar and cents impact on our
District. We got back enough money to pave little more than *one mile*
of interstate - and we have a huge District. We only got back $0.65 on
the dollar. Other parts of the state saw more tax money come back home
to their District because their Representative in Congress was focused
on the needs of that home District.

Hear the Blacktop Blues ad
now. If dollars
and cents make sense to you, vote for this ad by adding $0.32 cents to
your donation .

*One Bite at the Apple*

We only get one bite at the apple to determine what type of future we
will have for the next two years. The final week of a campaign is
critical and we only get to do it once. Your help now may be the wisest
long term investment you may ever make. How much is our future worth?
You get a chance to tell us through this fun Ad Dollars Drive, but what
is at stake in the next 48 hours is very, very serious.

Thanks to our readers for all your help!
